ZACH REDMOND SELECTED IN THE 2008 NHL ENTRY DRAFT

Sophomore defenseman Zach Redmond (Traverse City) of the 2008-09 Ferris State University men's ice hockey team was selected in the seventh round of the 2008 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft with the 184th overall pick by the Atlanta Thrashers.

FERRIS STATE HOCKEY DISTRIBUTES 2007-08 SEASON AWARDS

The 2007-08 Ferris State University men's ice hockey team, which turned in the program's highest victory total in the past five seasons, celebrated its many accomplishments Saturday (April 5) evening during the FSU Blue Line Club's Bulldog Hockey Awards Banquet in Big Rapids, Mich.

FORMER FSU SKATER KEVIN SWIDER MAKING HIS PROFESSIONAL MARK

Kevin Swider, who played collegiately for the Ferris State University men's ice hockey team from 1997-01, has been a mainstay for the Knoxville (Tenn.) Ice Bears of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) since his arrival in the 2002-03 season.
