WPFB-FM, WPFB-AM and WVKO-AM Join Miami ISP Sports Network

Joining the Miami ISP Sports Network family of affiliates is Middletown's WPFB-FM 105.9 and WPFB-AM 910 and Columbus' WVKO-AM 1580. Hamilton's WMOH-AM 1450, Richmond's WFMG-FM 101.3 and Dayton's WONE-AM 980 continue their partnership with the Miami ISP Sports Network.

Former Captain Ryan Jones Traded to Nashville Predators

Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired former Miami hockey standout Ryan Jones and a second-round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft from the Minnesota Wild for defenseman Marek Zidlicky.

Six Miamians Honored as NSCA All-Americans

The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) announced that six Miami University student-athletes have been honored with its annual All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award. Ryan Jones (ice hockey), Joe Coniglio (football), Tim Pollitz (basketball), Jacqueline Lovato (synchronized skating), Halle Popson (softball), and Jeanna Staun (volleyball) were among a select group of 239 collegiate athletes nationwide to be honored by the NSCA.
