Forward Aaron Voros, who skated for three seasons with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks, is the Albany River Rats nominee for American Hockey League Rookie of the Month honors for October. The 23-year old native of Vancouver, B.C., is tied for his team's scoring lead with five goals and four assists in nine games. He was named the AHL's Rookie of the Week on October 25 after tallying four goals and three assists over a four-game stretch that vaulted the River Rats to the top of the East Division standings.
