Brian Rolston receives CCHA Alumni of the Week honors after an impressive showing at the 2007 NHL All-Star Game. Rolston, in his first all-star game, compiled two goals and two assists for the Western Conference in a 12-9 win over the Eastern Conference on Jan. 24, in Dallas, Texas. He primarily skated on a line with St. Louis Blues forward Bill Guerin and Phoenix Coyotes forward Yanic Perreault and assisted on both of Perreault's goals. Rolston finished the game with a plus-5 rating. After the all-star game, Rolston scored the lone regulation goal in a 2-1 shootout win over Calgary on Jan. 26 and tallied another score in a 3-2 loss to Columbus on Jan. 27. Rolston played two seasons at Lake Superior State from 1991-93 and was a member of the 1991-92 NCAA National Championship team. In his time with the Lakers, Rolston compiled 51 goals and 59 assists and was elected CCHA First Team All-Conference in the 1992-93 season.
